--Doug Whallon, President of Visionary Machine Concepts, Inc. was employed by Hazledine Machine as a R&D Engineer.  Doug developed new machinery and redesigned many existing machines.  When Hazledine closed, Doug received several calls from customers needing assistance with their machines.  He helped many, and found that he already missed his job at Hazledine.  Doug decided to start his own company, aimed at servicing and supplying parts for existing Hazledine machines.

    As the company began to grow, Doug had customers asking him to build machines.  Doug's love for the business led him to build that first machine and things just escalated.  Visionary Machine Concepts, Inc. is now the manufacturer of production equipment for pallets, stakes and wood specialties along with supplying parts and troubleshooting old Hazledine .
